Children Welfare Program (CWP)

The Children Welfare Program (CWP) is an essential initiative of the Masjid Council, dedicated to the care, support, and rehabilitation of orphaned and disabled children, particularly those without guardians. The Council currently operates three orphanage units, providing full residential facilities.

The Special Children Unit in Jatrabari, Dhaka, caters to children with disabilities, offering a nurturing environment tailored to their needs. Meanwhile, the Girls and Boys Units located in Auchpara, Tongi, Gazipur, and Sonir Akhara, Jatrabari, offer shelter, education, food, healthcare, and emotional support to orphaned children.

Currently, the program serves 68 residential children, including 17 special children, 25 girls, and 26 boys, as well as 170 non-residential children. Donations from generous supporters fund the program, enabling the Masjid Council to meet the basic needs of these vulnerable children—such as shelter, education, healthcare, and nutritious food.
